What does Clero do that an agency or a marketplace doesn't?
Agencies sell hours and marketplaces sell lists. Clero runs the campaign. Give it a product and its AI agents draft the brief, rank creators against your goals, send the offers, review the delivered content, and release payment once the post is live and verified. You make the decisions that matter, and the agents do the rest.
What do I need to get started, and how fast can I launch?
A product image or product page URL, a rough budget, and the outcome you want. The agent drafts the brief and ranks matching creators in minutes, and offers go out to up to 30 creators the moment you approve the roster, so most brands launch on the day they sign up. From upload to live posts, plan on about three weeks, with product shipping usually the longest step, versus six to eight weeks through a traditional agency.
What does it cost, and when am I charged?
Signing up, creating campaigns, and sending offers are free, and there is no subscription or minimum spend. You pay per accepted offer through Stripe Checkout: the creator's compensation plus Clero's 20% service fee on that amount. Declined or expired offers cost nothing. Chatting with the agents uses tokens from an included allowance; top-ups are optional and never change campaign pricing.
What happens if a creator accepts but never posts?
You receive a full refund of everything you paid for that engagement, service fee included, to your original payment method. Clero releases a creator's payout only after it has verified the live post, so you never pay for content that didn't go live.
Which platforms does Clero support?
Instagram and TikTok. Creators connect their accounts through each platform's official login. Every offer is scoped to a single platform, so a campaign can cover both by sending one offer per platform. Deliverables are a video or a carousel post on the creator's feed, with an optional Story.
Do I have to ship product to creators?
Only if your campaign needs samples. When a creator accepts, Clero collects their shipping address and you ship at your own cost. Add the tracking number and Clero gives you a shipping dashboard with email updates for every delivery, and the creator confirms receipt in Clero. Shipped products are promotional items and are not returned.
Who owns the content, and can I reuse it?
Creators own the content they make. For every completed engagement you can view it, share and embed the live post, and keep copies for internal reporting. To repost it on your own channels, such as your website or social accounts, turn on secondary usage rights when you create the offer; the creator sees that and prices it in before accepting.
Is sponsored content disclosed?
Yes, whenever you want it to be. When you create an offer you can turn on Partnership Ads for Instagram or TikTok, and the creator publishes with the platform's Paid Partnership label and your brand tagged as the partner. You enter your brand handle and approve the tag on the platform. You can also boost the post with your own ad spend to reach people beyond the creator's followers.
Can I use Clero from inside Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. Clero ships an MCP server, so you can run campaigns from Claude or ChatGPT instead of the Clero site. Open Connect MCP on your Account page and follow the steps for your app. You approve the connection on Clero and never share your password, and you can disconnect an app at any time.
Do I need to be in the same country as the creators, or speak their language?
No. Clero was built for cross-border campaigns, such as Korean brands launching in the US. It works in 11 languages and can translate your campaign brief and offer messages, so creators read them in their language and you read replies in yours. Support is available in the same 11 languages.

How do I join Clero as a creator?
Sign up free, connect your Instagram or TikTok account through the platform's official login, and verify your mobile number. Then set your location, content themes, and the pay you'd like per post. You must be at least 18. Clero matches you to campaigns from that profile, so the offers you receive already fit your style.
Do I pay anything, or is a fee taken from my pay?
No. Creators never pay Clero, and nothing is deducted from your offer. The amount in the offer you accept is the amount you receive. Clero's service fee is charged to the brand on top of your compensation.
How do offers work, and can I negotiate?
Brands send you offers through Clero with the price, deliverables, and usage rights. You can accept, decline, or send a counter-offer, and the brand can counter back. Once you accept and the brand's payment is complete, the engagement is binding for both sides. Offers that go unanswered expire, and you get an email at every status change.
What happens after I accept an offer?
If the campaign ships product, share your address and confirm delivery when it arrives. Then create the content in your own style following the brief and upload it to Clero. You review it first, then the brand approves it, and you post it from your own account, with the Paid Partnership label if the offer includes Partnership Ads. Once the post is live, Clero verifies it and starts your payout.
When and how am I paid?
To your bank account in your local currency through Stripe Global Payouts, in 90+ countries. You don't need a Stripe account: after your post is verified, Clero emails you a secure link to add your bank details once. Payouts arrive in two stages, 60% as soon as the live post is verified and the remaining 40% about one week later, as long as the post stays up.
Do I keep ownership of my content?
Yes. You own everything you create. The brand can view your content, share and embed the live post, and keep copies for its records. It can repost your content on its own channels only if the offer included secondary usage rights, which you see, and price in, before accepting.
